My Experience Following My Dreams
Today I did something:
I described my dream life to Chat-GPT
I then asked what yearly income I would need to make such a life happen.
Surprisingly, it was lower than I imagined myself needing to make.
However, it really put into perspective what my dream life could look like and what I would need to make my dream life happen.
Try it. It’s very interesting.
Introduction
Since high school, I have dreamed of becoming a small business owner and working for myself.
I started working towards that dream in 2025 by starting my brand: Growth Bridge Marketing.
So… it’s been 4 months in and I feel I have already learned a lot from my experiences.
I want to explain to you all some of the biggest lessons I’ve learned so far.
Time Management is key:

Currently I work full time, Study college online full-time, Freelance write for clients, and for fun, train for marathons
This schedule has proven exhausting. Every day, I am up by 6 am at the latest and sometimes up until 2 am working on school work or freelancing projects.
I have learned that my Time management up to this point hasn’t always been the best, haha.
However, because of my suffocating schedule, I have learned about deadlines:
Setting Goals and deadlines for yourself can be very tricky at times, but understanding that time is the biggest gift that you have in life.
Planning your day out can effectively maximize your day to the fullest.
Set goals with a deadline.
Destressing quickly can help minimize wasted time throughout your life
The most important part about this whole ‘Time Management Thing’ is not making excuses for missing deadlines. Excuses are the one thing that will kill your progress like nothing else.
My 6th grade teacher once said, “Excuses are like armpits, everyone has a couple… and they usually stink“
Prove that you can show up for yourself: You’ll thank yourself in the long run.
Motivation and Disipline

Never in my life have I had to drum up as much motivation as following my dreams.
Rejection can be hard, It sucks not getting enough sleep, and it becomes very frustrating when I feel as though I don’t get as much attention as I deserve for the long hours that I put in.
However, motivation is one of those tricky concepts that can’t be developed by desire alone. It has to be nurtured and developed with actions intended to stretch yourself to see what you can do.
That’s where discipline comes in:
Concept is simple, really:
