Did you know that the most desired career for children in grade school is a social media influencer?

When I was a kid, this was not the case. As a kid, all my friends wanted to be firefighters, teachers, soccer players, etc…

I myself wanted to be an astronomer! 

Back then, the idea of making a full-time income, let alone becoming rich on social media, wasn’t a concept really. 

However, becoming a social media influencer 

Let’s be honest: Social media has just about taken over the world at this point.

Most companies, consumers, influencers, and celebrities are on social media. Social Media has become one of the biggest markets in the world and continues to grow exponentially to this day.

There are many ways to make money on social media.

Today, we will cover a few that could turn into a nice side hustle and potentially grow into a large income stream.

Handwriting Facebook page 

This is a very simple concept for a Facebook page I heard about recently that can bring in quite of bit of money for monetization 

1.  Write a quote on a piece of paper. 

2. Take a picture of that quote somewhere on your phone 

3. Make 3 posts a day with a similar picture and a question for post engagement

4. Rinse and repeat  

Within a couple of months, you should be able to achieve monetization.

This would be good for you if you enjoy taking visually pleasing photos and posting on social media.

Tip: Keep in mind that your most popular target audience will be an older demographic on Facebook.

60-day challenge Tik Tok 

People are fascinated by those who challenge themselves to do something seemingly impossible.

This is where this TikTok channel idea comes from.

Set yourself a goal in a niche that people are interested in. Common niches with these channels are usually Financial (trading from a paperclip to a new car) or health (Doing 1000 push-ups every day for 30 days)

Record a video every day explaining your progress in achieving your goal.

Every once in a while, make a video explaining things you have learned from the journey.

This is a good fit for you if you enjoy giving updates on how you are progressing in life.

Educational YouTube channel

Is there a topic that you just can’t seem to stop talking about? 

Consider sharing that knowledge on YouTube for others to watch!

YouTube is easily becoming the biggest educational platform on the internet. Which means there is a big market for it.

1. Record yourself talking about a niche topic. (You can do this with a slide show or just a script. Whatever makes you more comfortable.) 

2. Edit and post a video once a week 

3. Interact with comments and other creators. 

This is one that will be very dependent on how well of a presenter you are. However, as you develop skills and find topics that consumers are interested in-it can become one of the best ways to develop a following.

Running a small business's Social page 

This is an idea for my marketing friends out there. There are many small businesses that want to drive traffic to their business through social media. This is one of the main ways that companies will interact with leads and customers nowadays. 

Many companies will pay you to run their social media accounts. 

This can mean making daily posts for the company and interacting with customers in the comment section and in messages. 

This is great if you understand brand awareness very well. 

However, this side hustle can be tricky to start because the first thing you need to do is find a company that will pay you to run the Social Media page. Though it can become a more stable income stream because being paid won't be determined by the exposure the channel receives.

Amazon Review TikTok 

On social media, I see a lot of videos titled “10 cool things I bought on Amazon.”

You could do this yourself as well. Start by choosing a niche and reviewing products you recently bought from Amazon related to that niche. 

Buy things from Amazon that would interest those in that niche, and make a short-form video reviewing the various products. 

Add Amazon affiliate links in the description of the video and get commission from those who buy from your link!
